Frequently asked questions

Is this open to men who identify as a feminist?

It is for those who have personal experiences with what it is to be a woman/girl. So this would include women, trans women, trans men or those who identify differently but have experiences of what it's like to be a woman/girl. This is to ensure a safe space for sensitive topics and to help us understand what it is to be a woman in our society from our perspective. This isn't to say that men's voices aren't important. They are. However, our group was formed on the basis that our perspectives are often ignored or silenced by society so this group acts to give us a space to express thoughts and feelings about femininity we might not otherwise be able to do in our everyday lives.
